We successfully manufactured a precision 6061 aluminum bent sensor mounting bracket with black hard anodized finish for a UAV sensor system application. This complex bracket features multiple bent surfaces at varying angles and thin-wall folded sections — presenting significant machining challenges including tight form and positional tolerances across complex multi-bend geometries, and chatter and deformation during milling of thin-wall bent sections.
