This large-format monolithic enclosure features deep cavities with thin-wall sections and multiple integrated mounting features — presenting significant machining challenges including deep-cavity thin-wall chatter during milling, cavity deformation from stress release, and precise positional matching across multiple distributed features. Through vibration-dampening toolpath strategies, stress-relief machining sequences, low-stress fixturing, and single-setup precision machining, we delivered dimensionally stable enclosures with consistent geometric accuracy and uniform surface finish.
