This lightweight housing features extensive thin-wall hollow sections, intricate internal cavities, and multiple intersecting cross-hole features — presenting significant machining challenges including large-area thin-wall chatter, stress-induced deformation, confined cavity corner finishing, and cross-hole burr removal. Through vibration-dampening toolpath strategies, stress-relief sequences, specialized corner tooling, and high-pressure water deburring, we delivered dimensionally stable, chatter-free housings with clean internal features and a durable black hard anodized finish.
